This memory book is a personal initiative to mark Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 50 years of Imamat.
Over the past 50 years, our Jamat has made much progress. This has included the achievement of significant milestones, the establishment of several institutions, and for many of us the migration between continents.
This workbook is my humble attempt to capture a few highlights of the last 50 years of the Imamat. The task was daunting! However, my inspiration for this project stems from the travelling exhibition that commemorated Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 40 years of Imamat. At that time, I created a workbook to foster the Jamat’s participation and interaction with the exhibit. I noticed children working together to complete the exercises, adults collaborating to answer questions, and families engaged in discussion in an attempt to educate each other. It was exciting.
This workbook has a similar objective. I hope that as you, your families and friends work through the pages, you have many moments for reflection and discussion. May it also serve as a piece of contemplation of where we may be headed in the next 50 years.
This book would not have been possible without the support of my family: my husband Almoonir for his encouragement and technical assistance, and our daughters Nafeesa and Ruhee for their assistance. My special thanks go to a dear friend, Fiaz Merani, who edited the text with great diligence, making several suggestions which, I believe, have resulted in a significantly improved text.

A welll thought out initiative.
Now this can be expanded to include other periods of Ismaili History, thus providing an excellent timeline of our entire history.
Keep up the good work
