Kudos to the individuals who initiated this simple and tasteful decoration to commemorate Mawlana Hazar Imam’s visit to Vancouver.
Individuals elsewhere have suggested such a kind of banner display in all the cities that Hazar Imam will be visiting. That would be fantastic on Front Street in Toronto, outside the Roger’s Centre Darbar facilities, as well as on Sussex Drive in Ottawa and the Fourth Street in Calgary.
One person has even asked that the CN Tower in Toronto (the world’s highest structure) be lit up with my flag colours interspersed with gold. The CN Tower is adjacent to the Roger’s Centre. Hope the CN Tower executive responds favorably to this.
These are some of the tangible memories that we will be carrying with us all our lives. Imagine how children’s hearts are filled with happiness when they see flags!
I understand my flags are going to be distributed for easy identification of cars at designated parking lots. Hope that all of us will let them fly on our cars throughout Hazar Imam’s two separate visits to Canada in the next 3 weeks.

It was exciting to see that in developed countries, welcome messages are displayed in many streets.
I dont have words to express happiness but we can see that Hazar Imam is smiling on us so it was possible to celebrate his Golden Jubilee n i hope we pakistani get favorable situation here soon and we celebrate as well Inshallah soon.Aameen

To Iram and the Jamat of Pakistan
As the Canada Jamat celebrates Mawlana Hazar Imam’s arrival yesterday, rest assured that the Jamat of Pakistan will be in our thoughts and prayers during the Darbars. Both Mawlana Hazar Imam’s and Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah’s contribution and commitment to that country spanning several decades – and perhaps 120 years if you regard the establishment of Aligarh University as the precursor to the founding of Pakistan – surpasses that to any other country in the world.
To the Jamat in Pakistan we can all say – you are in our thoughts and prayers and we sincerely hope that Mawlana Hazar Imam will visit you sooner than you expect, and grant you a unique and incredibly satisfying Didar. May your wishes be fulfilled through the Imam’s love, affection and care for all of you, and his friendship with the people of Pakistan.
