Recalls Adatia: “I wanted to take picture of him with us and I asked his permission. The room was dim, however, and I didn’t have a flash on my camera. Although he was very sick and could not even walk, he told me he would head toward the window where there would be better light. Imagine! I clasped my hands with respect and said, “No Khudavind. I will take the picture just as we are.”

Wow. Enjoyed reading the article. One thing which came to my mind is that our elder people in our Jamat should write such meetings with Noorani Family and other important events which took place in our community. I feel such stories and articles should be recorded and be passed down to generations. I remember Late Al Waez Abu Ali saying in one of his waez to Senior Citizens in Canada that they should write books on the memories and important events of Ismailies that they were blessed with. I am planning to approach few senior citizens from Sidhpur, Gujarat, India and compile such incidence’s. My main intention is that these things should be passed on down to generations. Praying for success in my work.
