Mr Mamdani was educated in Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan, before migrating to the USA in 1974 where he studied film production at New York University. He currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Maleqa.

  1. Mr. Amirali Mamdani, I am sure you must have cross the path of history in Jamnagar of Kothari Family who were with the Jamsaheeb of Jamnagar. My Grand father and Father, Ismail Poonja Kothari and Kassam Ismail Kothari. Our family have a long history in Kathiavard. Rajkot Medo where my father was one of the organizers of SMS visit. Your father has known our family and of course you as well. I am very happy to read about the Journey from Jamnagar to New York.
