Tanzania’s Prime Minister praises Aga Khan Institutions for 100 years of help

I would like to congratulate his Highness Prince Aga Khan through his foundation on his commitment to Tanzania and in the world. We recognise their services on health and education, particularly in bringing the services closer to the people.

Tanzania’s Prime Minister praises Aga Khan Institutions for 100 years of help

Dar es Salaam. Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda has said that the government is committed to supporting innovation and quality service provided by private sector institutions, especially in social and human development.

He was speaking at the launch of the Rays of Light exhibition organised by the Ismail Council of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam yesterday. The exhibition, in ‘picture-in-action’, is meant to showcase the work of Prince Aga Khan in promoting equitable human progress and social justice in the world.

The PM also reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthen private-public collaboration to improve the environment for investment.

He showered praise on the Aga Khan Foundation which, he said, has for the last 100 years been undertaking various projects in the areas of education, health, insurance, news and information, tourism, culture, ICT that has tremendously helped changing lives of many Tanzanians.
