From Britain to Persia, Germany to Syria, and Turkey to Zanzibar –  Emperors, Kings and Queens, and Sultans bestowed on our beloved 48th Imam several honours as tributes and testimony to his great life and work.

 

His international statesmanship resulted in his appointment as the President of the League of Nations (precursor to the modern day United Nations) in 1937-38, and his nomination for the Noble Peace Prize in 1924-25.
