Naseem Nuraney appointed VP Communications for Fraser Health AuthorityNaseem as Vice President Communications and Public Affairs leads and directs a team that provides strategic and tactical public affairs, media relations, corporate communications and stakeholder relations guidance to the Fraser Health Executive team, senior staff and other internal stakeholders. She plays an important role in promoting sustainability and enhancing the health and wellness of all patients, residents, clients, and staff. Naseem leads the Communications and Public Affairs Department to develop and maintain a comprehensive, well focused and proactive communications program that meets the needs of all stakeholders including the public, our health care professionals and other staff members, medical staff and all levels of government.

Career Snapshot

Having joined the organization in 2006 and serving as Director of Public Affairs since 2011, Naseem is very familiar with Fraser Health’s operations. She brings experience from both the private and public sectors, having worked for the Federal Government for eight years as a Media Relations Officer to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and later as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Transport. Upon her return to Vancouver from Ottawa, Naseem joined public relations firm Hill and Knowlton as Account Manager before coming to Fraser Health.
