Philatelic stamps issued to honour His Highness Aga Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah, Aga Khan III

For centuries prior, postal stamps were both art and functional. Postal stamps continue to be expressions of art, culture, national patriotism and tradition, and increasingly diplomacy.
