Syria exhibit at Aga Khan Museum, Toronto, Canada receives an exquisite Syrian item on loan from the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany

Easy Nash shares a comment about the an artifact at the Aga Khan Museum on loan from Germany:

Watch the inauguration of the Aga Khan Museum's exhibition: Syria - A Living History (Video)

A friend of mine was at a conference in Berlin, Germany and visited the Pergamon Museum there, which has a large section reserved for Islamic Art and Architecture. What a pleasant surprise she had when she saw this there: there was a Syrian object that is currently on loan from the Pergamon to the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Canada and it says so on the inscription. It’s a small world!!

  1. Kudos to you ISMAILIMAIL for expanding this article from one beautiful Syrian artifact from the Pergamon Museum to the Islamic contents in much of the museum. It certainly gives a fuller picture and should be an automatic attraction for anyone visiting Berlin, Germany!
