Simerg launches Diamond Jubilee Initiative barakah.com with Dr. Nizar Motani's Article on His Highness the Aga Khan

On 11th July, 2017, Ismailis around the world, along with the wider societies within which they live, will celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the accession to the Imamat of His Highness the Aga Khan.

Barakah [barakah.com] hopes to provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of the remarkable work that His Highness the Aga Khan has accomplished in all spheres of human endeavour.

Dr. Nizar A. Motani, Ph.D has served at The Institute of Ismaili Studies as its first Publications Officer. Among his publications is a monograph summarizing the central argument of his doctoral dissertation and several articles and chapters in books and scholarly journals, on the Ismailis, East African Asians, the Ugandan Civil Service, and the Makerere College. He has been a regular book reviewer for the Journal of Third World Studies on African and Middle Eastern subjects.
