My order of the DVD package arrived in mail yesterday. I saw the documentary when it was first aired on Vision TV, and I look forward to seeing the entire footage as well as the extras included in the DVDs over the next few days.

I watched the film and I should say the DVD provides much more in content than what we saw on Vision TV. Then the extras such as the interview with Mawlana Hazar Imam are lengthy, informative and very interesting (I haven’t seen the second DVD from 1960’S).I highly encourage members of the Jamat to acquire this package, and I hope that Shamir Allibhai will do the needful to see that it receives a wider circulation via arrangements with major retail outlets such as Chapters/Indigo, HMV, Borders, Barnes and Nobles etc and the Jamat Khana literature counters.
This production along with other official Jamati and institutional publications (by no means confined to Golden Jubilee publications), including academic works, should find their rightful presence both on-line and at retail outlets across North America.
