Alykhan Velshi, former director of Parliamentary affairs to Mr. Baird has now joined the office of the newly minted Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Minister Hon. Jason Kenney (Calgary Southeast, Alta.).
Mr. Velshi, who moved to Mr. Baird’s office prior to the last federal election has now returned to Mr. Kenney’s office as Director of Communications and Parliamentary affairs.
In his new position, Mr. Velshi will be Mr. Kenney’s chief spokesman and will also be the point man on Parliamentary affairs for MPs of all parties in the Citizenship and Immigration Minister’s office.
