Toronto’s CN Tower, one of the very great wonders of the world and once its tallest free-standing structure, normally displays a plethora of colours every night, much like Paris’s Eiffel Tower does: red, purple, blue, yellow, green, orange, all in a melange of different shapes, sizes and movements.
However, on the nights of Saturday November 22nd and Sunday November 23rd 2008 the CN Tower displayed the fixed red and green colours of the ‘MyFlag’ in commemoration of His Highness Aga Khan’s Golden Jubilee visit to Canada in general and Toronto in particular. By Monday night, November 24th 2008, once the two Toronto Darbars were over, those lights had reverted to their normal multi-coloured presentations.
