Rahim and Amyn Mawani, inspired by His Highness the Aga Khan’s work, have embarked on a mission to engage the world in their initiative to ending global poverty.
The two brothers have created a foundation “End To Global Poverty”, and their mission is to 
influence global parliaments to proclaim October 8th as World Fasting Day. They hope this proclamation will help to remember that 26,000 children die every day due to extreme poverty.
They have created a petition online for which they require 100,000 signatures.
