i am very touched by this disaster in the valley of hunza, i am sad and i am sharing the pain with my jamat and people of hunza.

this is a hard time for our sisters and brothers of Ata Abad Hunza. it is the time to be empathetic with the people of Atta Abad. we must try to make possible arrangements for their food and shelter. it is time to share our land and homes. there are people in hunza, having much feilds and fruityards they are rich in resources like money and houses. if we can not share with them, then what is the use of those resources, except accumulation. please help jamat of Atta Abad through institutions. if institutions aren’t working, then we must knock on the doors of our leaders to come forward and render their services needed.
It is a very difficult time for the people of the effected village of Ata Abad and the whole Hunza valley that many precious lives have been lost in a disaster of such catastrophic scale.
It is a natural phenomena as the earth and the mountainous places have been created out of such catastrophic land, rock and mud slides, earthquakes and movement of the tectonic plates of the earth. Life on these places is really prone to such events.
I pray to the Almighty Allah that the departed souls may rest in peace and give real physical, mental and moral strength to live a peaceful and safe life.
My deepest condolences to the families who lost their dear ones in this disastrous event.
It is very sad that due to this calamity we have lost many precious lives especially the young boys and girls in Attaabad. Besides lose of lives the affecives have also lost their property and every thing.
This calamity has alo affected our Jamat living in the upper part of Hunza (Gojal) who are at present disconnected from rest of the country.
The NDM and FOCUS Pakistan are actively participating in the relief work.

I have been involved from the 1st of the landsliding seondly i really appreciate for local and federal govt action and their tremondous assistance and cooperation which is still continued for affectees of attabad as well upper hunza people which is really appreciatable once again i am thankful for all the people and welfare orgs for their assistances.

we have request to AKDN institutions, and donor agencies to please take action to release the water otherwise it would be a big disaster than happaned on 4th jan. there is possibality that two village are at risk in Gojal but at downstream along the hunza river all the villages will washout and the KKH will be distroyed.

God knows better how these types of natural disasters occur in the areas where people may never have even thought about it. Any way, we should not take it as a trial time, because human phenomina tells us that all sorts of occurances have dual diamensions both positive and negative, the psychlogical aspect of Nuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) tells that taking each event’s positive auspect porivdes fuel to the human energy of creativity. therefore, we should take it positive and get lessons from such type of disasters which show that God is always present.
Almighty Allah may keep all the effected people of Ataabad in peace and happiness. Blief in God is the only source of self inner satisfaction in difficult times.

I share my sorrows with the community of Gojal Hunza pertaining to Ata abad calamity. Obviously this disaster was beyound our imagination. Now the we should tolerate regarding the casualities and economic loss in the disaster prone area of Hunza. Now i request to the People of Gilgit Baltistan to come and show voulnterism and joint hands with Government and International organization to sort out best solution in that particular area.
the condition of hunza gojal lake is very much precarious… if the immediate measures are not taken to prevent the water from overflowing, it would cause a great loss… i request all the global jamat plz do offer special dua for the people of GB……

hunza atabad disaster is hot issue for gilgit baltistan government.they struggle day any night for the peoples who lost there families nd land.now the main problem facing the govt of GLTB is gojal side defective areas.in shala this govt give satety residential areas who lost there homes nd land.
mr wazir baig who is speaker of GLTB assembly.he work hard for our home land..he negociate with prime minister and presedent of pakistan about this problem.the govt of pak announce 1 billion for defective families.inshallas sooon it will b ok.make ur heart big and pray for our home land.
This kind of disasters are examination from God to the human being and we should know that God take exam of those who have the power to bear it.So all people of Gilgit Baltistan and especially Hunza Valley should be united and help each other to get rid from this sort of disasters and pray to God Bless all the victums.

It is shocking to learn about the details of this disaster at Attaabad. I am confident the govt has taken steps to alarm/caution the peaple around the areas most vulnerable after the lake breaks or the flood is iminent. much worried about the day today situation of Attabad lake, we are reading the web site and also noticing that Govt. is not paying full attention to overcome the dangerous situation, as per news report 3400 peoples became homless, now the water is increasing day by day, but from January till now what the Govt. has done….?

MAY 22; the people of hunza affected by the lake in hunza vally held a 20 hourlong protest against what they called indifference of the govt and non anouncement of acompensation package by prime Minister Yousuf Raza ghilani who visited the region on friday
They ended their protest by women after an assurance by the district adninistration that a financial package would be announced within a week……….

I share my sorrows with the community of Gojal Hunza pertaining to Ata abad calamity. Obviously this disaster was beyound our imagination. Now the we should tolerate regarding the casualities and economic loss in the disaster prone area of Hunza. Now i request to the People of Gilgit Baltistan to come and show voulnterism and joint hands with Government and International organization to sort out best solution in that particular area.

hunza atabad disaster is hot issue for gilgit baltistan government.they struggle day any night for the peoples who lost there families nd land.now the main problem facing the govt of GLTB is gojal side defective areas.in shala this govt give satety residential areas who lost there homes nd land.
mr wazir baig who is speaker of GLTB assembly.he work hard for our home land..he negociate with prime minister and presedent of pakistan about this problem.the govt of pak announce 1 billion for defective families.inshallas sooon it will b ok.make ur heart big and pray for our home land.

It is shocking to learn about the details of this disaster at Attaabad. I am confident the govt has taken steps to alarm/caution the peaple around the areas most vulnerable after the lake breaks or the flood is iminent. It is very important that we must take all possible steps to minimise the csualities during this disaster.May Allah keep all peaple of Gilgit Baltistan safe in this natural disaster. Ameen

much worried about the day today situation of Attabad lake, we are reading the web site and also noticing that Govt. is not paying full attention to overcome the dangerous situation, as per news report 3400 peoples became homless, now the water is increasing day by day, but from January till now what the Govt. has done….?

MAY 22; the people of hunza affected by the lake in hunza vally held a 20 hourlong protest against what they called indifference of the govt and non anouncement of acompensation package by prime Minister Yousuf Raza ghilani who visited the region on friday
They ended their protest by women after an assurance by the district adninistration that a financial package would be announced within a week……….
