National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Focus Humanitarian Assistance Pakistan (FOCUS), an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Islamabad Hotel for enhancing Disaster Risk Reduction Programmes at the national level.

The comment from Mr Akash is very true and someone personally talked to a family of five chidren with Father being Blind. They do not have any place to live no work no help for the past 3 years in Atta Abad since the disaster. Can any responsible manger of the funds kindly reply to my email and I will give them the name of the family in Atta Abad. I am in the USA and got this message. It is sad to hear this when HI is working day and night for the well being of his Murids. People overseas hear these messages get very discouraged to donate any funds to Focus or other organization. Pakistan Focus committee I am told is in charge of the Gigit and Hunza area. Kindly explain this situation and see if this family gets any help.
